A royalty free perpetual use license is granted for any and all images, for personal use only.
Any special requirements, such as managed licensing must be discussed separately.
Two sizes of digital file are available (the particulars will be noted in your contract);
Web use (1,024px on long side, 72dpi). These images are to be used for facebook and other such social media.
Print (4,000px on the long side, 300dpi). These images are to be used for reproduction prints, not web use.
We maintain archives of RAW files, and other sizes can be requested if required.
Any press release, magazines or news articles which contain our photos, our only requirement is that credit be given as follows “Photo: David James Photography”.
COMMERCIAL CLIENTS/RIGHTS MANAGED IMAGES
Unwatermarked, Hi-Res images (4,000px+ on the long side, 300dpi)
License– Use: Marketing and promotional collateral, Format: Brochure, Magazine and direct or electronic mail, This use covers: Printed material that is designed with a cover and interior. It includes brochures, direct mail pieces, envelopes, sales catalogs, folders and pamphlets as well as copies of the ad transmitted electronically. Size: Up to Full page, Placement: Inside, Circulation: Up to 25,000, Distribution: Printed Media, Duration: Up to 1 year, Territory: Worldwide. $350 per image per year.
Unwatermarked Low Res image (980px longest side, 300dpi).License– Use: Marketing collateral for websites and in blogs., Format: Internet or electronic mail, Distribution: Electronic Distribution – no social media, Territory: Worldwide. $150 per image per year.
Other Artists & Creatives
Unless an agreement has been made to the contrary, David James Photography retains copyright to all images.
All photographers and/or assistants waive their rights to ownership and may not (including but not limited to) keep, use, display, promote, advertise any images taken for and under the banner of David James Photography. Doing so will be seen as a breach of copyright and legal action will be taken against any photographer who breaches these terms.
